Amy is a former elected Trustee for Kitchener-Wilmot with the Waterloo Catholic District School Board. In this role, she passionately supported students and their families. Amy carried out all of her campaign promises, including being a strong advocate for students with special needs and increasing the board’s communication and inclusivity in the community.
Amy is also a board chair for Bridges To Belonging Waterloo Region, an organization supporting people with disabilities by helping them to plan the life THEY want in our community.
Prior to her current roles, Amy worked as a broadcast news anchor and sports reporter in various cities across Canada.
Amy and her husband Craig have resided in Kitchener's Doon neighbourhood for almost a decade along with their four kids and two Black Labs, "Ivy" and "Rickman."
Amy strongly believes that it’s time for change in Ontario. She cares deeply about Kitchener South-Hespeler and will work tirelessly so that families who work hard can pay less and still get ahead.
